Etudes For The Young Jazz Musician

Note for March 2020: I designed this for educators who are currently involved in REMOTE LEARNING. I know that ensembles are hardest classes to teach (obviously). This is designed to send something fun to your jazz ensemble players that will improve their playing and listening skills, improve their conception of the jazz style, and most importantly, take their instruments out and play! Ok, on to the description of the package :)

Designed for the Elementary/Middle school band director with a jazz ensemble consisting of various instrumentation. These etudes will increase your ensembles ability to play in common jazz styles,improve rhythmic abilities, sight reading, and can also be used as a study tool for the aspiring improviser. Etudes are designed for middle school level students and/or advanced elementary school students. 

This package consists of:

 -6 jazz etudes including lead sheets in concert pitch, Bb, Eb, and bass clef.

-Demonstration recordings of the author playing the etudes for students to play along with or study before attempting to play. 

-Backing tracks for students at both slow and faster tempos. 

This package comes in a convenient PDF format for you to send to your students and are free to be distributed to everyone in the ensemble. The audio files are high quality mp3's that are easily uploaded into Google Classroom or other remote learning tools.

I have obviously made this pay what you want in order to get this to as many students as possible while we are in this remote learning period due to school's all over the world being cancelled.
